  21.   Could be that the drive  motor for the platters is no longer spinning 
  22. up becaus eit is dead or the drive has a stiction problem. I had a 105 
  23. quantumm the old full hight 3.5 that was like that.  To check it turn off 
  24. the system and remove the drive but leave all cables connected and power 
  25. the system up you should feel the platers start to spin up if not try to 
  26. give them a spin by hand if you can get at the shaft exteranly if not it 
  27. could very well be toast so call the manufacturer and see if the can fix 
  28. it if not you will have to check with one of the places that repairs 
  29. drives, but witht he price of new drives it could be cheaper to buy a new 
  30. one if so and it is  astiction problem get a new one and the take this 
  31. one apart hook them all back up and give the platters a spin by hand and 
  32. copy eveything to the new drive ASAP!!
